Radnor took on Shadoxhurst Reserves today in the Shebar Trophy. Two teams without a win in the league it could have potentially been a close one and it was!
0-0 at half time after a pretty even affair both teams came out in the 2nd half and went for the win, in the space of about 15 minutes Shadoxhurst took the lead from a counter attack but Radnor hit back from a great goal from Alex Watson somehow finding the bottom corner. But from a defensive mix up (classic) and Ryan Parrett claiming the own goal Shadoxhurst took the lead again. Radnor had a few good chances to take the game to extra time but some good stops from the Shadoxhurst keeper saw the game finish 2-1.
Great game played in a great spirit, hope the the lads ankle is ok from the unfortunate injury and sorry we didn’t make the pub lads but the chilli was calling back at the Nailbox, we’ll be there next time!
