AGM SUMMER MEETING 2022

RADNOR PARK ROVERS AGM 2022

Thanks to everyone who attended our first club AGM, it was really great turnout and plenty of great suggestions put forward. Please see below the meeting notes.

Season review and preview

So we obviously got relegated and will now play our games in Division Three.

At the end-of-season awards, we were awarded the Eric Hatcher Memorial Trophy to celebrate our discipline and fair play attitude throughout the season. We’ll forever be written into the history book because of this, so well done lads.

Signing On

A signing-on form will be shared on WhatsApp this week, please fill that out as soon as possible and send the signing-on fee of £25 to Archie when possible. You have to have a photo this season, so please when match day is back up and running make sure yours is up to date.

The Stadium Update

Unfortunately, this is why match fees will have had to go up this season as pitch hire is going from £69 to £95. A letter to the council organised by ourselves and signed by all Folkestone clubs has been sent and we’re awaiting an official response.

Matchday Subs

Prices of match-day subs will therefore increase.

Friendlies

Subs will be £3 for everyone

League matches

45 mins plus £6 and less than 45 £4 – this increase should just about cover our stadium and ref fees for the season, sorry that it’s had to increase but if we don’t make these changes we’ll be in debt.

Stadium price change

if there is a change due to our pressure and they do not increase we will revert to last season’s match-day subs.

Friendlies

We’ve now got games every Sunday till the end of August. Matchday App is just updating and hopefully, on the 8th of July I can add those games in there and you can start adding your availability

First game

Shadoxhurst away – Prem Team – waiting for confirmation on the ground, I’m guessing the ridge. Used to be South Willesborough, we played them last season pre-season and lost 7-0

Training SUMMER

£1.50 – At the stadium for now – the first 2 sessions are free for newcomers

Training WINTER

EXCITING NEWS the academy is getting a 3G and we’re already booked in from the first of September – Half pitch – at the moment 7 pm – 8 pm just to hold our space

TRACKSUITS

We’ve got 2 sponsors ready to get involved – I’ve added a size question to the signing-on form so watch this space. More sponsors are welcome as well

I’ll also set up print on demand store through Pendle if you want any specific training gear.

New Kit

So close to getting this done, will be ready for the season but we will wear the old kit for friendlies.

Also if you would like to purchase your own socks and shorts you can do so here

Home socks – https://www.directsoccer.co.uk/joma-premier-socks-89572?

Away socks – https://www.directsoccer.co.uk/joma-zebra-ii-socks-89580?

Season shorts – https://www.kitking.co.uk/products/joma-shorts-nobel?variant=34448431251589

KIT FROM THE KIT BAG CAN NOT BE TAKEN HOME – we lost the odd bits of kit last season, but on the whole, it wasn’t terrible – but Sarah has kindly offered to wash our kit this season, so all kit must go back to the box and in the kit bag. We all must turn up on the last day of the season with flowers for her as well

Player Sponsors

£10 for the season – this is the same initiative as last season, it’s good for family friends etc – their business will be on our site and social media with your graphics
